6 weeks already!!

Time flies when you are raising puppies!! I don't know where the last 3 weeks went! But in that time the puppies have become very busy little playmates! They are just precious and continuing to grow each day and steal our hearts a little more!

LuLu , our phantom gal who continues to have the prettiest markings...

Tucker, our little boy is growing great but still remains our smallest fella....such a cutie....

 

 

Flower, such a sweet little girl....(she has a family, but we are excited to keep her with us for awhile as her family is travelling)

 

 

Brownie, our biggest and curliest boy is such a cuddle bug...He will be heading home soon with his family, I know they cant wait!

 

 

And summer, is another lovely girl who will be going home soon to her family. They live out in the country so I know she will enjoy exploring her new yard as she seems to enjoy the outdoors! 

 

 

Soon our nest will be empty...(the puppy room anyway)...Our 4 human babies will continue to keep us quite busy as school starts in less than 2 weeks!

 

 

3 Weeks and Growing!!

They have opened their eyes and are beginning now to explore their world!!
Life is getting ready to get busy!!

Flower is our beautiful apricot girl. She already has been picked by her forever family and they are enjoying seeing updated pics of her as she grows...

 

 

Lu Lu is our gorgeous phantom girl with striking markings...she has also been chosen by her family. They are looking forward to a visit with her soon!!

 

 

Summer is another female who has also turned out to be a phantom with slight brown markings. She has a lovely wavy coat...

 

And Brownie is our chocolate phantom boy who has a curly coat...what a handsome fella!!

 

 

And our smallest boy Tucker, has a wavy coat and a white "soul"" patch on his chest, so very cute!!

 

 

 Looking forward to 5 more weeks with these sweeties getting them ready for their new homes!!

I thought with this being her third litter, Macy might have a smaller litter this go round. But she surprised us  with 5 puppies yet again! We have 3 females and two males in this summer litter. They are all doing great!

The first girl to arrive was our "Summer",  black in color (though anticipate she may silver or even have slight phantom markings)

The next was another female, apricot in color, who the girls have named "Flower",

And "LuLu" was the next on the scene, our beautiful black/brown phantom girl,

The boys finally made their appearance with "Brownie" arriving next, a lovely milky chocolate color,

And last but not least is our smallest boy, "Tucker", black in color with a white flashing on his chest,

What fun we will have this summer, preparing these guys for their forever homes!

Summer Litter

Macy's 3rd litter is here! Born June 27th, 2013. She kept us guessing this time! Her last litter was several days early, so I prepared early this time, only to be surprised when she went two days past her due date. And she decided to take advantage of the few moments I left her side during her labor and got out of the whelping box and went under my bed! When I returned, I heard the sounds of a tiny puppy and Macy was nowhere in sight! My husband and boys helped me disassemble the bed and I was able to be with her to welcome all 5 new doodles into the world! She and pups are all doing great!

Preparing For home!

Once the pups turn 8 weeks , they are ready for their forever homes. A bittersweet time for us. We tried to catch a few pics before they left the nest!...

We will miss these guys but so excited to see them go to loving forever homes where they will get lots of hugs and kisses!



Ringing in the New Year!

Newborn Pups!

We had a darker litter this time than our first with some simply beautiful coats! We had 3 males and 2 females this go round.

Here are our babies on their very first day....
This is Bella, our largest female,  who turned into a beautiful silver color with a curly fleece coat....

 

and then our other female, Shadow, who had a shiny, jet black, wavy fleece coat, simply gorgeous...

 

 

And then our biggest male was Monet, a beautiful milk chocolate with white flashing on his chest and a gorgeous wavy fleece coat...

 

 

 

Bingo, was born charcoal black in color but later seemed to turn into a silver beige with a lovely wavy fleece coat....

 

 

And Winston was born the smallest but did not stay the smallest as he ended up catching up to his siblings, our only apricot in this litter with a beautiful wavy  fleece coat...

 

 

The fun was yet to come...watching them grow up!!

 

 

 

 

A Thanksgiving Surprise!!

We woke up the saturday morning after Thanksgiving (November 24th, 2012) to 5 new precious puppies! Macy had surprised us and not given us any indication they were coming. We were expecting them the following week.

But as an experienced mama, she knew just what to do, and had clearly worked hard through the night.  The pups were all 5 cleaned up and nursing mom when we awoke.

 

We were quite proud of our Montana Macy!! What a great mother!!
